Manorisms was a site occupation and exhibition project, curated by Rosie with works by Rosie and her fellow RMIT doctoral candidates Louisa King, Phoebe Whitman and James Carey, as well as undergraduate interior design students and Rebecca Scott from STREAT. Taking place at Cromwell manor, a former brothel in Collingwood in late 2013, the project aimed to transform the site through subtle, site responsive works that considered care in and through design practice.
The project aimed to mark the period of transition of the site between its former use as a brothel and its future use as a cafe and training facility for STREAT - a social enterprise that provides training and employment in hospitality for homeless young people.
